My Online Evidence Binder

Hello and Welcome, Teachers!

As part of our Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR), many of us are required to keep evidence binders of our student work.  With all the new demands from the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), the upcoming Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) framework, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Student Learning Objectives (SLOs), and the host of other acronyms we need to keep track of, it’s no wonder that many teachers are feeling harried, frustrated, and bewildered.

Sharing what works to meet the new standards may help alleviate the pressure, and so I will be sharing my evidence binder here online… actually, this IS my evidence binder!   Activities and assessments that have worked for me may be modified to fit your own needs, and anything you are willing to share back will be greatly appreciated!  I especially welcome cross-curricular work as a way to add the necessary informational texts to my repertoire.
